 Gold Room at Congress Plaza Hotel & Convention Center Chicago

The Gold Room at Congress Plaza Hotel Chicago is restored in 1997 and famous for it's architecture. This is ideal room for wedding reception and banquets as well as any formal event.
The ceiling of the Gold Room is designed to be suspended by wire frame. Past U.S. Presidents have accepted their Presidential nominations in the Gold Room.
On February 14, 1920, a group known as the National American Woman Suffrage Association held an event in the Gold Room.The ratification of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote was celebrated. It's mission achieved, the National American Women Suffrage Association was transformed that night by vote into the League of Women Voters.
